Tootsie Roll Drive – October 23-25, 2026 – Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteers Needed!!!

Our annual Tootsie Roll Drive to benefit the intellectually disabled is scheduled for October 23, 24 and 25.  And yes…..the Chiefs have a Sunday Night October 25th AWAY game!!!

We will be collecting at three locations this year:

  1. Hy-Vee 8900 W 135th, (135th and Antioch), Overland Park. KS.
  2. Constantino’s Price Chopper 8501 W, 160th, (Bluhawk Shopping Center, 159th and Antioch) Overland Park
  3. Church of The Ascension after all the masses on Saturday and Sunday

Please prayerfully consider volunteering for this great charitable event.  Spouses, children, and grandchildren are welcome to assist in collecting donations.

All shifts at the grocery stores are two hours.  Mass shifts are right before and after mass.  Please arrive 20 minutes before mass.  Please go outside right after receiving communion.

I will send out additional information as we get closer to the dates, and we have volunteers signed up.
