Ascension Knights will hold their annual Turkey Drive for Catholic Charities on 11/22 and 11/23. We will be manning the food truck in the parking lot between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Then we will also collect donations before and after each Mass that weekend. This year we are asking for Knights to volunteer their time to assist in the collection. 

Basically, you just stand at the end of the truck and people will hand you frozen turkeys or drive up with them. You then just slide them into the truck. Probably the most weight you would have to handle is 20 pounds.

We will also have a bucket for cash/check donations.

Ideally, we would like to have three to four volunteers for each Mass. You would need to arrive at least 30 minutes before Mass starts and then remain until Mass lets out (we usually get a number of cash donations after Mass).
