Pitching for Priests – Tailgate – July 31st, 5PM – Legends Field

The Knights of Columbus is providing a tailgate for Ascension attendees at the Pitching for Priests Softball Game, Friday July 31st. The game is a fundraiser for Vocations for both the Kansas City, KS and Kansas City, MO dioceses.
The Tailgate will feature complimentary hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and non-alcoholic beverages. We’re especially looking forward to serving Ascension Altar Servers and their families as a Thank You for their service. All Ascension members are welcome to join us for complimentary food and drinks.
We’ll start serving at 5:00 pm under the big trees along State Avenue at Legends Field, 1800 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, KS 66111. Look for the Ascension banner. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs and tailgate toys. Once inside the stadium, sit on the Kansas side. Kansas Players will be in Red.

 

Volunteers are needed to help with transport, set-up of tables and chairs, tents, corn hole games, grills, coolers, food and condiments as well as clean-up and returning everything to Ascension. Please contact me David Elliott at david.cnpservice@gmail.com, or 816-863-7760. If you have questions.
